Our Story & Mission
Our contributing engineers have worked for NASA, Amazon, AT&T, Lockheed Martin, Auburn University, International Paper; and hold degrees in several fields of engineering, architecture and permaculture.
We decided it was time to combine our talents and offer an alternative that can change the status quo.
Though we grew up in a world marred by poverty and planetary neglect, we didn’t simply accept it as “the way the world works.” We were overcome by a sense of responsibility and set out to create a sustainable building and lifestyle system we could be proud of – where poverty was optional and freedom was irrevocable.
In order to achieve our desired impact, we had to design around our ABC's:

At Abundance Building Concepts, we reimagined our lifestyle from the ground up—rethinking home systems, daily habits, and long-term goals to design a new way of living rooted in efficiency, sustainability, and freedom.
Our journey began with creating an ultra-efficient, replicable building system. We tested the best products, incorporated recycled materials, and even invented low-tech tools to make DIY building truly accessible and affordable for everyone.
Next, we developed strategies for off-grid utilities that eliminate unnecessary monthly bills, giving you back control over your life. But we didn’t stop there.
We curated practical, low-cost solutions for growing your own food, protecting your digital privacy, and transacting with sound money—empowering you to live resiliently in every area of life.
To tie it all together, we built the Abundance Network app—a private, decentralized communication tool that works even without internet or cell service.

How do I access your online classes?
Click on the "Start Learning Now" button. Once you purchase, the link to access the class will appear. Download the file to your devices for perpetual access.
Do you offer pay later?
Yes! At checkout you will see the Klarna and Afterpay pay later options. We also offer our own interest free monthly payment plan at $42/mo.
Can I pay with cryptocurrency?
Yes, email submissions@abundancebuild.com and we will provide the address for the transaction and send you the link to download the class.
Is my access to the class perpetual if new content is added?
Yes! Your Download never expires, and you can download on a second device free of charge.
Are the materials safe and good for the planet?
Absolutely! We recycle foam in our cement; this is great for the planet because we divert directly from landfills and prevent the waste from entering oceans and waterways. When the foam (which is 98% air) is locked behind the stucco wall and encased in cement, there is virtually no off-gassing.
Can I substitute other materials in the formula?
You can, and we encourage people to experiment. However, the performance of your building (especially insulation) may be negatively affected.
Are there size limitations on what I can build?
Using our materials and methods you can build a building of any size. The buildings can withstand overhead weight but the performance is dependent on several design factors. Check with a structural engineer before attempting a new build design especially with a second story or underground level.
Are the buildings fireproof?
Yes, the buildings are completely fireproof as long as they are coated with stucco.
What is the R-value of your buildings?
Abundacrete has a R-value of 3.2 per inch. You can customize your wall thickness for your needs based on this value. Our buildings also provide no thermal bridging or open cavities so they really outperform what the R value measures.
Are the buildings safe for severe weather?
Our designs are built to provide improved resistance to severe weather. Our buildings offer better wind resistance, additional performance in earthquakes, and our self-healing cement is formulated to last for generations of natural wear. The mesh and stucco coat is rated to withstand at least 2000 PSI.
Will the building I build be up to code for my city?
Every country, state, county, city, and even neighborhood can have its own unique regulations. These regulations should be a determining factor in where you choose to build. We do everything we can on our end to assist you, but ultimately that decision will be made by your local government. The regulations are typically far less stringent if you intend to build in a rural area or classify your building as a storage room, a greenhouse, or as a temporary structure. Make sure to contact your local building department to see how the codes apply. So far customers have had success with regulators by leaving a frame in the wall. They can use the frame to calculate the strength of the building and just consider the Abundacrete as insulation.
Do you have official testing results on your materials or buildings?
Not at this time. We are trying to raise the hundreds of thousands of dollars in funding necessary to complete testing for ICC certification. Consider donating if you'd like to see the official testing!
Can the buildings be made accessible for people with disabilities?
Yes, the buildings can be customized to meet ADA requirements.
